JSC "BREWERY OLIVARIA"



JSC "Brewery Olivaria" - one of the oldest surviving and operating plants in Minsk and Belarus. History of the enterprise has its roots in the 19 century. During its existence, the plant produced beer, changed many names and owners. But always remained faithful to tradition, which honors and now.



1864

Minsky petty bourgeois deadhead Frumkin opened the wooden brewery at the intersection of Alexander and Country on the basis of decision of Minsk provincial government. At this point the plant still stands today and is a monument of industrial architecture of the XIX century.

1869

The first medal and Honourable mention beer was presented at the National Art Fair in Nizhniy Novgorod.

1894

The new owner Count Czapski built a stone brewery, hotel and other administrative buildings, installed a steam boiler, held the phone. Beer is produced according to German recipe.

1898

1917

In 1917 the factory was nationalized and became state-owned enterprise under the name Brewery "Belarus". During the Great Patriotic War, he was one of the few surviving buildings in Minsk. About this indicates an inscription in German «BRAUEREI MINSK» (Minsk brewery), which is found under a layer of whitewash on the factory building from the street. Kiselyov. 1990

There are new names of beers. Some of them were dictated by the history of the plant: "Lekkert-1", "Lekkert-2, other sogranichny:" Count Czapski, "Traetskae, Nemiha, Minsk Brewery.

Much attention was paid to the development of a new label design. Using full-color printing, subject to specially selected "cool" colors, has greatly improved the design of the bottle and to emphasize the quality of the drink.

1996

1997

September 27 The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has become a shareholder of the oldest Belarusian brewery. He owned a 30% stake.

2006

JSC "Brewery Olivaria" acceded to the UN Global Compact, once again confirming its attention to corporate social responsibility.

2010

Company BalticBeveragesHoldingAB (BBH), which belongs to CarlsbergGroup, has completed the acquisition of a major stake in brewery Olivaria. In a series of deals with corporations and individuals share of BBH in the statutory fund "Olivari has increased by 17% to 47%.
