JSC "BREWERY OLIVARIA"

JSC "Brewery Olivaria" - one of the oldest surviving and operating plants in Minsk and Belarus. History of the enterprise has its roots in the 19 century. During its existence, the plant produced beer, changed many names and owners. But always remained faithful to tradition, which honors and now.

1864

Minsky petty bourgeois deadhead Frumkin opened the wooden brewery at the intersection of Alexander and Country on the basis of decision of Minsk provincial government. At this point the plant still stands today and is a monument of industrial architecture of the XIX century.

1869

The first medal and Honourable mention beer was presented at the National Art Fair in Nizhniy Novgorod.

1894

The new owner Count Czapski built a stone brewery, hotel and other administrative buildings, installed a steam boiler, held the phone. Beer is produced according to German recipe.

Graf served as mayor of Minsk and did much good for the city: to promote the end of the current structure of Yanka Kupala Theatre, built the first pawnshop in Minsk and the first in the territory of Belarus, telephone stations, founded the Mariinsky female high school and vocational Minsk credit society, as well as organized in the city horse tram - competition.

Casus

With the image graph Czapski on the labels of the eponymous beer "Alivariya, already released much later than the death count came out incident. Developers have drawn a stout gentleman with a mustache with goatee - the portrait had to fit the stereotype of a man who adored beer. But it soon became clear that this Czapski looked quite different. This was proved by a descendant of the graph, giving coin minted in 1970 in Italy for the 110 th anniversary Czapski.

As a result, the image is removed, leaving only the words "Count Czapski, but the first batch of products already out of the old self with the label and became a coveted collectors prey.

1898

The plant goes into the possession of the Austrian brothers Lekkertam merchants who produced beer until 1917. They owned 4 railway wagons for transportation of ice beer in Vilna, Bialystok, Brest, Grodno, Bobruisk.

Thanks brother Lekkertam appeared first name of a plant - Plant Lekkerta. This fact says extant documents, as well as preserved bottles of the time, who discovered in the basement of the plant. Marking these bottles is a glass stamp printed on the bottle, which contained the name of the product, information about the owner and address.

During the management of the brothers Lekkertov changes occurred in the design of bottles: glass stamps simultaneously began to use paper labels oval, on which was depicted an eagle carrying in its claws a barrel. The trademark in the Soviet period was not used, and only in the early 90-ies of the twentieth century, he again took his place.

1917

In 1917 the factory was nationalized and became state-owned enterprise under the name Brewery "Belarus". During the Great Patriotic War, he was one of the few surviving buildings in Minsk. About this indicates an inscription in German «BRAUEREI MINSK» (Minsk brewery), which is found under a layer of whitewash on the factory building from the street. Kiselyov. Work at the plant did not stop. Annually produces a thousand dal of beer.

In the Soviet era brewery "Belarus" produced beers: Zhigulevskoye, "The March", "Count Czapski," Traetskae "," Velvet. " Labels of that period were a label on the bottle neck and inferior to the current generation of labels in terms of design, quality printing and the volume of information provided.

1990

The last decades of the Soviet period for the plant have been extremely difficult. Development plan Minpischeproma BSSR provided his closing: no equipment, no technology has not been updated. At that time, were built large breweries in Drazhno (Minsk), Bobruisk, Rechitsa. Plant joined the association "Krinitsa and become unsound. Therefore, in the transition economy in the market-position of the plant were extremely unfavorable. Depreciation of fixed assets exceeded 90%. Nevertheless, the team took the only possible solution to save the team and the best traditions of the Belarusian brewery - the corporatization of the enterprise.

1994

In June of 1994. received a certificate of registration of the JSC "Brewery Olivaria. Was returned to the pre-revolutionary trademark - the eagle carrying a barrel. Logo complemented the founding date of the plant - in 1864.

There are new names of beers. Some of them were dictated by the history of the plant: "Lekkert-1", "Lekkert-2, other sogranichny:" Count Czapski, "Traetskae, Nemiha, Minsk Brewery.

Much attention was paid to the development of a new label design. Using full-color printing, subject to specially selected "cool" colors, has greatly improved the design of the bottle and to emphasize the quality of the drink.

Later, it was decided to develop and apply plant "image" label, which is based on use of the mark "Alivariya" on the labels of all beers. Thus the very name of the company has to advertise their products and promote the market's own brand - "Alivaryya.

1996

Beginning of a global reconstruction of the production - Replacement and commissioning of modern equipment.

As a result of the reconstruction quality indicators "olivariyskogo" beer to meet all requirements of the European Brewery Convention (EBC), and were increased production capacity for beer.
